DONATIONS
TO THE CORPUS
For
your donation to be treated as a Corpus Fund, the payment has to be
received by Demand Draft or Cross Order Cheque with accompanying written
directions that the donation is meant for the Corpus of the institution.
The Corpus Funds are fully invested as permitted by the governing laws.
Only the income derived from the investment would be utilized for the
stipulated cause. It is necessary to give the name/s and address/es
of Donors, Groups / Association of Person/s and/or Family Members contributing
to the fund. Payment to either Institution towards Corpus Funds should
preferably be made by Cheque, Pay Order or Demand Draft payable at Mumbai.
All other donations would be utilized for the purpose for which they
are given.
Changes in Schemes:
This concept of donors sponsoring individual children, that has been
popular in previous years, is now being actively discouraged as it is
found to create a feeling of indebtedness and a conflict of identity
- between the real parents and the sponsors in the mind of the so-sponsored
child.
