MESSAGE
TO DONORS
We
like to think that Fidais are solid time-proven
institutions that have a committed leadership
worthy of trust and confidence and having a sense
of direction. The Institutions maintain the highest
level of integrity in the management of donated
resources and are run and managed efficiently.
Fidai's programmes and activities are based on
local needs and are guided by expert professional
and voluntary inputs. Because of these factors
the Fidai Patrons are confident that their contribution
of money, time and effort are well utilized for
the benefit of the children for whom they are
meant.
Please remember that the purpose of Fidai Institutions is enabling children
to recover and maintain their dignity as befitting their status as God's
greatest creation. We seek, therefore, assistance to the institutions,
not charity to the children. Donors would be funding human development
and enabling young individuals to achieve dignity by becoming self-supporting.
The children should know that while at Fidai that they are not living
on anybody's charity. People who financially support the institutions
are investing their money in them so that they in turn will, in the future,
work and contribute to improve the lot of people in society who are
placed in circumstances less favourable than them. We invite business
houses and profit-making concerns, large and small, to help in our efforts.
